ABRASION
The process of wearing down or rubbing away a fabric's surface over time because of friction, frequent use, or other mechanical processes is known as abrasion. This may cause the fabric to lose its colour, look, and tensile strength. It can occur due to various factors, including washing, ironing, rubbing, and scraping. PILLING
Pilling is the development of tiny balls or clusters of fibres on a fabric's surface because of friction or abrasion.
