TOOLS FOR WORKING WITH WOOD
The tools for working with wood are very numerous. As in other professions, there are tools for almost every task. However, there are tools that are mandatory when working with wood. Basically, these woodworking tools can be grouped into two major types: manual woodworking tools (i.e., those that require manual action and our own strength to operate), and electrical woodworking tools.

9. Circular saw

A good circular saw is one of the most versatile tools for both carpentry work and other projects. The circular saw has different cutting blades with more or less teeth. When using a circular saw, keep in mind that if you choose a blade with many teeth you will be able to make smoother cuts but you run the risk of burning the wood. Whereas with a cut-off wheel with fewer teeth and more space between them you make rougher cuts, which need to be sanded back to smooth the cut, although it makes the wood burn less.
The use of a cut-off wheel or other will depend on the type of work you are going to do in any case. In addition, depending on the type of wood you are going to use and its resistance, you will have to use a cutting disk with more or less teeth. For example, if you are going to work with plywood or laminated wood, you can use an 80 tooth saw blade.
10. Drill

The drill is another of the electric carpentry tools that you must have yes or no. A drill will allow you to drill the wood with different types of bits and diameters, as needed. The most recommendable is to have an electric drill with a cable, as they are generally more powerful and cheaper than battery drills. They offer a constant power, which makes them the perfect drills if you are going to give them an intensive, prolonged use and with big drills.
11. Sander

Electric sanders are another of the fundamental tools for a carpenter. The sander allows to smooth the surfaces and to improve the final aspect of the wood that is being worked. Thanks to the sander, smooth wood surfaces are obtained, without cutting edges or splinters.
12. Nail gun

The nail gun allows you to put nails quickly and efficiently, saving you a lot of time in your carpentry work. There are nail guns with different powers, electric guns and pneumatic guns. The choice of one or the other will depend as always on the use you are going to give it. If you plan to use it intensively and professionally, you will need a powerful nail gun.
